The Common Light Project is a nonprofit organization serving rural communities by helping meet basic needs and connecting individuals to additional resources. Our work is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the belief that no one should feel invisible or unsupported.
We focus on providing food and hygiene items, as well as helping connect people to other community resources that support long-term stability. Our goal is to offer practical help while treating every person with respect and care.
At this time, we generally do not accept clothing or household items. Focusing on food and hygiene allows us to serve our community more sustainably and effectively.
We serve individuals and families in rural communities who are experiencing hardship or unmet basic needs. As we grow, we will share more about our service area and outreach efforts.
No. The Common Light Project is not a religious organization. We serve people of all backgrounds and beliefs with no religious requirement or expectation.
You can support us by donating, sharing our mission with others, or following along as we grow. Volunteer opportunities may be available in the future, and we’ll share more details when that time comes.
Our organization has 501(c)(3) status, so donations are tax-deductible. Every donation helps us build the foundation needed to serve our community responsibly.
Follow us on social media or reach out directly if you’d like to be added to future updates. We’ll share news, progress, and opportunities as they become available.
