Every act of generosity toward The Common Light Project helps bring light to rural families facing real, everyday challenges. When you support this work, you’re not just meeting immediate needs—you’re strengthening communities, restoring dignity, and creating pathways to lasting change. Together, your compassion becomes a common light that reaches farther than any of us could alone.
How You Can Help
The first way that you can support us is by taking food items to the nearest Common Light community refrigerator. Donations of produce, eggs, milk, frozen goods, and more can make a huge difference to someone in need. Dry goods donations are also welcome where a dry goods shelf or pantry is available.

The second way that you can show support is by donating financially to our cause. Our donation page is accessible on this website via the Donate button in the upper right corner of any page. We also have a link to the donation page in the menus at the top or bottom of each page. You can choose one of the amounts shown or enter a custom amount. You can also choose whether your donation is one-time or recurring. We are grateful for any and all donations. And because we use the Zeffy platform, you can rest assured that 100% of your donation benefits The Common Light Project.

A third way that you can support us is to work with us to hold a fundraiser. We ask that you not hold any fundraiser on our behalf without contacting us first. Individuals, businesses, churches and schools that would like to hold a fundraiser can reach us at commonlightproject@gmail.com.
Another way to support The Common Light Project is by spreading awareness of our organization and its mission. The better known we are, the more support we can garner for our cause.

Businesses and individuals can also provide in kind donations of gift cards, raffle baskets, and more for use at Common Light Project fundraisers.
